It's almost finished, it just needs a seam and a waistband. And I think it needs something else too, somehow I'm not quite happy about it, but I'm not sure what it is.... any ideas?
O, and while I was sewing I also made this:
It's a bunny pincushion made from hemp and filled with wool sweater remnants and I'm giving it away, because I now have 100 blogfollowers. Thanks! If you LIKE / WANT / NEED this pincushion, please let me know WHY. I'll pick a winner in about a week.
I will soon list pincushions in my shop too. They are inspired by the drawings I made for the mobiles in my shop. Here's a sneak preview.'

Congrats on the 100 followers!
I love the skirt as it is!
I love bunnies and pincushions so I think I would be a good owner for your bunny pincushion :)
Congrats to the 100 followers!
Lovely works!
Maybe your skirt misses pockets?
Lovely skirt, Nicole! Perhaps you can add some lace or a biais band at the bottom or so? But I like it the way it is.
I'm a new sewer so I think I NEED this pincushion as I don't have one yet!! LOL :)
I finished my first garment on friday - will show it in my blog next week!
I like, want, and need it :)
Skirt is lovely too, I wish I could sew good enough for making my own.
So the reason was greed (approved by you) :)
Oh my gosh... that skirt is fabulous! I LOVE that material... all the swirly feel to it! And the colors!! I saw the photo in my blogger dashboard and rushed into your blog wondering, with a bit of hope and lust, if you were selling skirts in your shop now. It's gorgeous! I like it the way it is, but maybe you'd like a bit of black edging at the bottom?
And the pincushions..... so sweet! At first I thought, well, I don't sew so there's no need for me to have that little pincushion. But then I thought about my jewelry studio, and yes, there are needles on it from the work I do with leather... so here I am entering your giveaway so I can keep up with my leather-working needles scattered among my beads and findings.
I love skirts! All year round! This fabric is great!
Congrats on the 100th follower! I like this pincushions because they are sweet AND you are recycling wool remnants... smart!
the skirt is gorgeous, wish I could sew :-(( for me it is perfect the way it is now!

Hi, Nicole! To me, the skirt is great as it is! Congrats!
Congrats again on your 100 followers! I'm thinking about to make a giveaway when I'll reach 100 followers as well! :)
And let me say again that I'm very happy with your mobile in my studio!

Nicole 100 followers on your blog ???????????? how did you do that ?
I have about 30 after years and year s ...hehheheh
you must be just way more interesting !!!!!!!!!!!!!
sigh
Major congrats on the 100 followers!!
I so NEED that pincushion because I don't have any, I tried to make one my own but I sucked bad and I am a bunny lover. hihihi
*much love to your side*
I could use that pin cushion for my beading needles. When my 3 bigger dogs stand near my work table, their wagging tails are always sending this flying-especially little needles, which I can never seem to find again.
Congratulations on 100! I am 102 for you. You have a very nice blog!
